A William IV silver entree dish with Sheffield-plated cover and warming stand
Mark of Robert Garrard II, London, 1837
The shaped circular dish with reeded border and stylized shells at intervals, engraved with a crest, the Sheffield-plated domed cover inset with an engraved coat-of-arms and with an artichoke finial, the Sheffield-plated circular stand on four scroll feet with leaf joins, with foliate piercing and two leaf-clad scroll handles, with Sheffield- plated shaped circular liner, marked on dish, finial and nut, also stamped GARRARDS PANTON STREET LONDON on reverse of dish, cover and stand
