Chandler complains bitterly over losing the copyright to his story, "Trouble is My Business", due to Verdict magazine reprinting the story with the incorrect date and compares his current situation to one suffered by "The King and Yellow" at the hands of Argosy magazine. He gently chastises Swanson by suggesting that "it is about time that agents dealing with reprint material should make it a rule to put themselves on record in writing as having provided the necessary copyright information" while acknowledging "...that details like this get buried and forgotten."
