AN AUSTRIAN SILVER COVERED CUP ON FITTED STAND
Marked with maker's mark in script, circa 1858
The cup on spreading circular foot rising to a part lobed body, alternating lobes of chased foliage, the rim applied with a floral swag and draping chain links centering two blank shields, the cover with floral finial issuing from a medallion of laurel leaves, the oval tray with cast border alternating cherubs and medallions of flowers, the center with a raised band of chased flowers to fit cup.
