On shaped quatrefoil base raised on four shell feet with mask joins, the domed base lightly engraved with rocaille and foliage, with an applied seated cherub, and pen rest of foliate scrolls, the globular inkpot with hinged cover set with stones and with floral finial issuing from a medallion of draping plumes, marked under base, on inkpot, cover and pen rest.
