TWO CONTINENTAL SILVER COVERED DISHES
German, late 19th Century
The first in the form of a covered ecuelle, of circular form with two flat handles flat chased with scrolls, the removable domed cover with bud finial issuing from a rocaille medaillion; the second circular chased with medallions and swags, the cover similarly chased with swags, with a bud finial, and turned wood handle.
The saucepan 12½in. (31.5cm.) long over handle; gross weight 51oz. (2)
