AN AMERICAN SILVER THREE-PIECE TEA SERVICE
Marked Curry & Preston, Philadelphia, circa 1830
Comprising: teapot, cream jug, and two-handle covered sugar, of globular form on spreading circular foot with bands of beading and engine-turned design, the body with a band of floral repousse at waist, the domed covers with blossom finials, with leaf-capped scroll handles, the pot with a floral capped spout and wooden handle with leaf cap.
