A French mahogany and brass mounted cylinder bureau, late 19th/early 20th century
decorated throughout with painted pictorial panels depicting amorous couples amidst ribbons and floral garlands, the galleried marble top above cupboard door flanked on either side by fluted columns with a further three gallered tiers, the lower slide revealing three inner drawers above a pull out velvet lined writing surface, the lower frieze drawer on ring-turned fluted tapering legs -- 30in. (76cm.) wide, 59¾in. (151.5cm.) high, 19in. (48cm.) deep
