Circa 1770, the fretwork cornice restored
The scrolling arched pediment with a dentilled border and pierced fretwork frieze above two pairs of geometrically glazed doors, the base with a fitted secretaire drawer opening to reveal a gilt-tooled beige leather writing surface, various drawers and pigeonholes, above three long drawers flanked by two tiers of five graduated drawers, on a plinth
