The demilune crossbanded top above a conforming case with frieze drawer, above a scalloped frieze inlaid with diamond-point banding and fans, flanked by a pair of deep drawers veneered to simulate two short drawers, the left drawer fitted with a liner, flanked by hinged cabinet doors inlaid with ivory lockplates and later locks, on square tapering legs ending in star-inlaid cuffs, later brasses
