The molded everted breakfront cornice overhanging a reeded frieze flanked by outset panelled medallions above reeded engaged pilasters, the eliptically-mullioned glazed doors enclosing three movable shelves, the base with molded edge and a fall-front secretaire drawer enclosing a range of pigeonholes above two wide mahogany-lined drawers flanked by three short drawers to either side, above a cut-corner panelled drawer and the similarly panelled pair of doors, on a stepped base and gadrooned vasiform feet, cornice partially reconstructed, with white chalk inscription M82, bearing the spurious stamp GILLOWS
