Each section opening with a blue and red divided initial with pearled decoration and flourishes, smaller red and blue Lombards, occasional underlines. Rubricator's date of 1503 on the title-page of each volume. (Slight dust-soiling to upper margins, a few very minor marginal tears, small stains to Ll3 obscuring a few letters, occasional dampstaining in Part IV.)

Binding: contemporary blind-tooled deerskin over wooden boards, bound at Leipzig by Kyriss shop 102, covers with central panel of Rautengerank (Kyriss 103:3 = Schwenke-Sammlung 86) and artichoke tools (Kyriss 1) framed by a flower and strawberry roll (Kyriss 3=Schwenke-Sammlung Ranke 181); each volume with a pair of brass and leather fore-edge clasps inscribed with the abbreviated contents of the volume in a contemporary hand, dark-stained parchment index tabs, spines painted gray at the Dominican monastery of Eger, with contents ("P. Beckenhaub" and "S. Bonaventura") and shelfmarks in large colored capitals; spine linings cut from a 14th-century(?) missal (covers soiled and rubbed with some scrapes, old repair to upper cover of vol. I).
