This wine comes from a small block of what are possibly the oldest Cabernet vines in the world which were used for the legendary 1953 Grange Cabernet. Due to the exceptional quality of fruit in the 1996 vintage, this is an exercise in quality and is not a true commercial proposition. Production was under 1,000 six bottle cases
