Marked in katakana 'Yamatoku', Meiji Period (circa 1900)
Decorated in various coloured enamels and gilt on underglaze blue with a shaped panel enclosing three seated women on a veranda, two shaped panels to the foreground with pheasants on a riverbank, the rim with demi-flowerheads reserved on a washed-blue ground
