拍品專文

John Williams (c1870-1951) who was one of the early members of the Guild of Handicraft and worked in close association with John Pearson in the metalwork studio (see Christie's South Kensington Classic Arts and Crafts 2nd November 2000 for a charger signed by both artists). A similar vase was illustrated in an article on the Home Arts and Industries Association which Williams was heavily involved with. Like John Pearson he resigned from the Guild of Handicraft in 1892.
