2o (277 x 203 mm). Woodcut printer's device on title, five 14-line and numerous 7-line initials. (Some marginal staining, worming to first few leaves, lacks blank L6.) Contemporary French blind-tooled goatskin over pasteboards of manuscript paper waste, spine linings from vellum manuscript, covers tooled with double fillets, a floral roll-tool border and 4 vertical rows of floral roll- and hand-tools with a central row of a bee hand-tool, spine in six compartments, evidence of 4 pairs of ties (half of upper joint cracked, minor wear to edges). Provenance: Michael Mallet (contemporary ownership inscription on title).
