2o (417 x 287 mm). Gothic letter, 2 columns, with gloss, printed in red and black throughout, woodcut printer's device on title, large woodcut illustration of the Holy Roman Emperor and the seven electors on a2 verso, numerous woodcut initals in various sizes, many historiated. (20 mm. hole to title affecting text slightly, minor worming at end.) Contemporary German blind-tooled half pigskin over wooden boards, two brass catch plates, (clasps missing light wear to upper spine end with headband chewed away). Provenance: marginalia in contemporary hand throughout; Princes of Liechtenstein (bookplate).
