Front and back of reddish lacquer paste-boards. -- Manuscript in Sanskrit (possibly Prakrit). [India], n.p., late 18th- or early 19th-century. 4o (315 x 250 mm). Black and red characters within blue and red border on 421 leaves of native glazed paper. 40 PAINTED MINIATURES and two pages decorated in gold and colors. Contemporary red goatskin wallet binding (rebacked). The miniatures appear to illustrate the life of Krishna, probably under the Bhagavad-gita category. 	 (2)
