(Occasional unobtrusive marginal paper flaws or short nicks, occasional pale foxmarks.) Decorative borders, head- and tail-pieces. Early 18th-century Augsburg Brokatpapier wrappers by Johann Christoph Ledergerber, gilt stamp on margin, uncut.

FIRST EDITION. The plates depict animals and pastoral scenes and are strikingly printed in blue. Soldini also wrote a history of the Reformation and a study of Florentine philosophy. Brunet V:427; See Hemmerle, Buntpapier (Munich, 1961). VERY FINE.
