The first item comprises a printed receipt for payment of one new louis d'or, for six months dividend for one share (Number 77) in the copper and silver mines at Ilmenau. With signatures of Goethe and Christian Gottlob Voigt as representatives of the Saxe-Weimar and Eisenach Mining-Commission. Both Goethe and Voight had been named as ceremonial officers of these once productive mines which were to be re-opened and revitalized. Together 2 items. (2)
