Provenance: [Christie's New York, 20 April 1979, lot 219].

LIMITED EDITION, number 21 of 50 copies on paper [none was printed on vellum] signed by the printer C.H. St. John Hornby. This was the ninth book produced by the press. Hornby IX ("... the first illustrated Ashendene Press book and the first to be signed by the printer"); Tomkinson 10.
