Persian manuscript on cream paper, 283ff. with 23ll. of fine black nasta'liq arranged in four gold-outlined columns, titles in red with gold clouds with polychrome illuminated spandrels, similarly illuminated opening bifolio, the start of each of the five sections with a similar heading, with nineteen full-page miniatures in gouache heightened with gold, some retouching, in contemporary gold lacquer binding tooled with arabesques and decoupé doublures
