Lot Essay

There are two seal impressions of Sultan Bayazid II (AH 886-918/1481-1512 AD) on the opening and closing folios. Other notes are dated AH 1019-1216 (1610-1801 AD). The marginal notes are in Turkish. This is a beautiful manuscript in excellent condition. The author and title are unknown, but the work concerns words of wisdom.
