A CAMPANIAN RED-FIGURE HYDRIA
CIRCA 330-320 B.C.
Decorated with a central stele flanked by a woman seated on a chair holding a phiale, a quartered casket and fillet above, a xylophone behind her, and a woman standing in front of a pedestal basin, a fillet and rosettes above, wave pattern frieze below, tongues on the neck and rim edge, palmette under the handle with side scrolls, details in added white, black glaze worn; and an Apulian bell krater, attributed to the the Dijon Painter, side A: satyr running after maenad, side B: two draped youths with an altar between them, one with strigil, the other holding a staff, flanked by scrolling tendrils, meander frieze below with saltire squares, laurel wreath under the rim, with a presentation case, circa 370 B.C.
