A CORINTHIAN TERRACOTTA SATYR WITH A DONKEY'S HEAD
MID-5TH CENTURY B.C.
The bald satyr with broad grimacing face and prominent ears, squatting with legs wide apart, supported by a long tail at the back, his body wrapped in a horizontally striated cloak, his arms and genitals modelled underneath the cloak, a braying donkey head to his left side, left donkey ear missing
