Sides A and B: procession of Dionysiac revellers around a central figure of Dionysos with an attendant maenad, flanked on either side by another maenad riding a mule, the procession led by a satyr, vine branches in the field, a vine leaf under each handle, details incised and in added white
Interior: black glazed with a crouching satyr holding a cornucopia within a central tondo
Black glazed foot and handles, repaired
7¾ in. (19.8 cm.) diam. excl. handles; 3 1/8 in. (8 cm.) high
