A ROMAN PILLAR-MOULDED GREEN GLASS BOWL

The shallow bowl with eighteen tapered vertical ribs around the exterior, the interior with wheel-cut concentric circles, 5½ in. (14 cm.) diam.; a smaller pillar-moulded bowl, the deep bowl with wheel-cut lines on the interior rim and towards the centre, iridescent, repaired, 1st Century A.D., 2 in. (5.2 cm.) high; a Hellenistic cast green glass shallow bowl, the interior with three sets of wheel-cut parallel lines, 2nd-1st Century B.C., 6 in. (15.3 cm.) diam.; two smaller cast bowls with decorative wheel-cut bands around the exterior, ground rim, 1st Century B.C./A.D., 2 5/8 in. (6.7 cm.) high max.; and a later Sassanian style faceted glass bowl, 3 in. (7.7 cm.) high (6)
