Lot Essay

Originally made for the working miniature cabinet gramophone in Queen Mary's dolls' house at the Wembley Exhibition in 1924, these records were sold at the HMV stand at the Exhibition, and also subsequently through HMV dealers. They are regarded as the smallest working gramophone records ever made.
