Lot Essay

The vendor was a friend of Dave Lee Travis in the early 1960s who at that time worked as a DJ in the evenings at the Oasis Club in Manchester. On the occasion of The Beatles' second appearance at the club on 29th September, 1962, the vendor was invited backstage to The Beatles' dressing room, where these signatures were obtained.
