Lot Essay

Jimmy Nicol replaced Ringo Starr on drums when Starr was ill with tonsillitis on the first five dates of an Australasian tour beginning on 4th June, 1964. These signatures were probably obtained on a KLM flight to the Netherlands where The Beatles played a date on 5th June en route to Australia.
