An English white stoneware cache-pot
possibly Spode, applied in white with a vignette in memory of Admiral Howe and Lord Nelson, the reverse with a further vignette commemorative of the battles of the Nile and Copenhagen, inscribed PATRIOTS, reserved on chocolate-brown oval panels beneath a border of flowers and foliage, circa 1805 (restored to rim) -- 7cm. high; an English pottery pale-blue-ground mug applied with a biscuit cameo moulded with a quarter-length portrait of George IV in profile to the left beneath the inscription GEORGUIS IV DEI GRATIA BRITANNIARUM REX, the underside moulded with the inscription JULY XIX/MDCCCXXIX, circa 1829 (handle restored, cracked) -- 8.5cm. high; and a Copeland Late Spode brown stoneware jug, commemorating the Transvaal War, impressed and printed marks, circa 1900 -- 17cm. high
