the cylindrical flared pot moulded with three vertical ribbed sections, painted with a bird perched in flowering branches, the reverse with two fanciful moths, issuing sprays of carnations and other garden flowers, iron red painted mark, circa 1765 (some losses to flowerheads and chips to leaves and petals) -- 18.5cm. high
