A pair of Derby figures of 'Ranelagh Dancers'
modelled as a gentleman and companion, each modelled standing, he wearing a tricorn hat, flower-sprigged jacket and iron-red breeches, holding a posy of flowers in his right hand, she wearing a bodice painted with with pale-green and puce circles, and flower-sprigged skirt, holding a letter in her left hand, on scroll-moulded bases, Wm. Duesbury & Co., circa 1765 (some restoration and minor damages) -- 21cm. and 22cm. high respectively
