A Worcester globular teapot and cover
with flowerhead finial, painted in colours with two Oriental figures, one seated offering a flower to the standing figure, the reverse with two standing figures, one holding a fishing rod, before a garden, within roundels, reserved on a ground gilt with scrolls, flanked by two further cartouches painted in puce with huts on islands, circa 1775 (a crack to the handle and the cover with a small chip to the rim) -- 14cm. high
