A FINE GREEN ENAMELLED 'DRAGON' DISH
ENCIRCLED KANGXI SIX-CHARACTER MARK AND OF THE PERIOD
Formed with shallow rounded sides rising to an everted mouthrim, the centre finely enamelled to depict a lively upright dragon in pursuit of a 'flaming pearl', amidst flame and cloud scrolls, encircled by a double line border, the cavetto decorated with a pair of striding dragons in similar pursuit, the exterior with a further pair of striding dragons above a band of lappets, all picked out in translucent emerald-green enamel against a pencilled outline in underglaze-blue
