The rectangular platform inlaid with maple squares to form a chequerboard, the front with diamond shaped bone escutcheon, the tapering undersides with pleated silk covering, above a knopped stem on a quatreform base with four bun feet, the interior later refitted, restorations -- 10in. (25.3cm.) high overall
