A Dutch oak vitrine, 19th century
the arched and shaped, moulded cornice centred by a large shell carved cartouche cresting, of inverted break front form with canted sides, the upper section comprising two glazed doors enclosing two mirror backed shelves (later plates), the lower section with two shaped panelled cupboard doors enclosing a shelf, flanked at either side by comforming panels on a cavetto moulded base with block feet -- 72in. (183cm.) wide, 92½in. (235cm.) high, 19in. (48.5cm.) deep
