A French rosewood, tulipwood, marquetry and ormolu mounted bombe shaped secretaire a abbatant, late 19th/early 20th century
of bombe outline, with a serpentine-shaped red mottled marble top with a frieze drawer, the fall front revealing a fitted interior of short and long drawers and a tanned leather lined writing section with three further drawers below, with shaped marquetry decorated sides on outswept legs with sabots -- 29in. (73½cm.) wide, 55in. (140cm.) high, 14½in. (37cm.) deep
