A Persian carnelian agate pendant
Early Qajar and later
of octagonal shape, carved with lines and shaped panels of religious invocations, dated 1217, mounted in a silver frame -- 2¾in. (7cm.) wide; and eight further honey-agate seals and pendants, three in silver and gold mounts, each one carved with lines of calligraphy -- 1 7/8in. (4.7cm.) max. wide, (minute nicks to three).
