An Indian ivory figure of a maiden
19th and 20th Century
carved wearing long draped robes, standing beside a water well filling up a jar, on a wood stand -- 3¾in. (9.5cm.) high; an ivory tusk carving of a seated Buddha on a lotus base, the reverse with scrolling motifs -- 5 7/8in. (14.9cm.) high; and a quantity of further Indian ivory carvings, including animals, figures, boats and sticks -- 22½in. (57cm.) max. long, (old damages).
