gouache on ivory, three-quatre length portrait of a noble seated wearing loose fitting white robes with red shawl; and a European Classical depiction of Cleopatra, gouache on ivory, showing the queen of Egypt with long blonde hair seated gazing upwards, crown to one side, one hand raised the other holding an asp against her bare breasts, mounted, oval gilt frame -- largest 16.5 x 12cm. (one cracked).
