A Napoleon III ebonised and ormolu mounted pier cabinet, late 19th/early 20th century
the black rectangular marble top with canted corners and a guilloche and rosette decorated frieze, above an oval panelled door depicting Aphrodite and Bacchus playing, with rosettes to each corner between canted angles headed by acanthus leaf corbels with a shaped apron on rosette headed block feet --28½in. (72.5cm.) wide, 39in. (99cm.) high, 16½in. (42cm.) deep
