The game depicted can be identified from left to right: a sparrowhawk (Accipiter nisus), a jay (Garrulus glandarius), two song trushes (Turdus philomelos), a dead gray partridge (Perdix perdix), a hare (Lepus europaeus) and a mallard (Anas platyrhynchos; a green woodpecker (Picus viridis), a greenfinch (Carduelis chloris), a chaffinch (Fringilla coelebs) and a starling (Sturnus vulgaris) in a basket nearby.
