Lot Essay

The flat illustrated in the article by René Chavance was originally furnished by Eugène Printz, then after his death in 1948, by Jean Saint-Georges.
Jean Saint-Georges studied at the Ecole des Arts Décoratifs de la Ville de Paris. He became a pupil of E. Printz, later his collaborator and finally his partner. Following Printz's death, Saint-Georges continued his work and his style, together with his producing his own creations.
