THE PROPERTY OF A EUROPEAN The following six lots form part of a private commission for the interior of a Parisian apartment by Jacques Adnet in 1953. At the time Adnet was the director of design at Louis Sue and André Mare's C.A.F., having worked on both the oceanliner Île-de-France and as director of the decorating studio for the Galeries Lafayette.
