Lot Essay

Faulkner attended the Royal Dublin Society Schools from 1848-52 and exhibited oil and watercolour landscapes at the Royal Hibernian Academy from 1853. He was elected an Associate of the Royal Hibernian Academy in 1861 and a full member in 1862. He exhibited at the Royal Academy from 1880-87.
