Two Russian silver dropping bowls and six silver-gilt niello spoons Maker's mark indistinct, Moscow, 1816; also struck with assayer's mark of Iwan Wichljajew (1804-1818); maker's mark of Pawel Fedorowitsch Sasikow, Moscow, 1854; also struck with assayer's mark of Andrej Antonowitsch Kowalskij (1827-1856); spoons maker's mark indistinct, Moscow, late 19th Century The first bowl on a plain circular rim, the body with an applied band of flowers and an engraved coat-of-arms; the second bowl plain with reeded rim; the six silver-gilt spoons with twisted handle, the back of the bowl with niello city sides 18.4cm. diam.
