Maker's mark unidentified (Stuyck 4906), Bergen, circa 1760; also struck with later Dutch duty-mark (1814-1953)
On three scroll and foliage feet with applied foliage above, the partly fluted body chased with foliage and shells, the similarly chased hinged cover with flower finial, with removable wooden handle (upper part broken off)
