Maker's mark stamped SANCHEZ, struck with rampant lion and indistinctly CAST..., Spain or Spanish Colonies, circa 1760, also struck with some later 19th Century duty-marks
The shaped navette stand on four scroll feet and with reeded rim alternated with flower heads, the ink-pot and penholder are both attached to the stand, each of everted fluted pear-shaped form and with domed fluted cover, the detachable sander of similar form
