Lot Essay

Patek Philippe confirm production of this watch in 1912 and its subsequent sale on 15 October 1913 to B. Schroeder.

Gay Frères, located in Geneva, specialised in jewelry but had an enormous reputation for producing high quality bracelets for wristwatches. While the company produced bracelets for many manufacturers, it is strongly associated with Patek Philippe and Rolex.
