Lot Essay

Niton was founded in 1919 by two former Vacheron & Constantin employees, Mr. Alfred Bourquin and Mr. Edouard Morel. The company developed and produced movements with different calibers but specialised in extra thin pocket watch movements with winding crown to 12 or 3 o'clock. Niton also supplied other companies such as Patek Philippe and Chopard with either movements only or complete watches.
